Verity Smith’s Wheelchair Fund

Donation protected

Hi

I am reaching out to ask people to get Verity back to what he loves doing!

Verity lost his  parents when he was young and only he only has a small support network.

Verity was a female rugby player in both codes for 26 years before transitioning.   He is an advocate for trans inclusion in sport and provides LGBTQ+ awareness to break down barriers for everyone to participate in sport.

Eighteen months ago Verity had an accident he took a bad tackle in a game which resulted in spinal surgery unfortunately his spinal cord was crushed for too long leaving him with paralasis and nerve damage to his spine, left leg and foot.
Further surgeries to try and help have not been successful and he has been struggling to get about and live an independent life.

If you can please put some money into Verity’s fund for a new wheelchair.  As he is currently unable to socialise with friends.  He is unable to get his chair into his car which has caused him further isolation.

Please help Verity get back out enjoying life!
