Hi. I’m Libby Letlow.

I’ve spent more than two decades working in Los Angeles theatre as an actor, director, and producer. Shakespeare has always been central to my artistic life. I trained extensively in classical work, and early in my career I co-founded and ran a theatre company devoted to ambitious storytelling.

And now, I’m bringing something bold and electric to Hollywood this fall.

This September and October, we’re producing a gender-swapped Romeo & Juliet — set in the 1980s.

Neon. Rebellion. Young love. Big emotion. Big music. Big stakes.

But beyond the aesthetic — this production is about something deeper.

It’s about who gets to tell the story.

It’s about power.
It’s about identity.
It’s about what changes — and what doesn’t — when we flip the lens.

We’ve reserved the McCadden Place theatre in Hollywood.
We’re assembling a cast of 20 extraordinary artists.
Designers. Actors. Technicians.

And here’s what matters most to me: Everyone gets paid.

In a city where artists are constantly asked to work for exposure, I want to create something different. I want to build a production that values the labor, talent, and time of the people who make it.

To do that, we’re raising between $35,000 and $50,000 to fund artist salaries and production design.

This isn’t a nonprofit — it’s an independent production company — which means contributions aren’t tax-deductible.

But what you’re funding is immediate and real:
Jobs.
Art.
Live theatre in Hollywood.
And 20+ working artists being paid for their craft.
