Verdi Fire Emergency Fund

An unexpected fire started in Cardiff on 4/18/20 on Verdi Ave.

Two families were affected and the outcome has rendered the residences uninhabitable.  

This page is to help raise money for the families affected by the Verdi Ave fire. 

Let’s come together as a community and help in anyway we can.

The families affected are Michael and Pam Fukumura, and one of their adjoining neighbors Susan.  Many of you know or recognize Michael and in many ways he is a true Cardiff community treasure.  He is an active advocate for the water and healthy lifestyle both body and mind.  He teaches yoga and can be found on the break almost every day on his paddleboard or in our community running with his dogs.  If you know Michael, you already know is that he is the sweetest man generous with both his time and knowledge, and lives his life to better others.  Let’s rally around this wonderful man and our lovely neighbors in this time of need.
