Verdi Academy Dance Floor Fundraiser

Hello! We are Jennifer Hayden, Kerry Lang and Shannon Anderson. All three of us have had daughters at Verdi Dance Academy for the past 4 to 5 years. You might have heard the exciting news that Verdi has found a new building! With all of the excitement of getting a new, bigger building (with more parking space!) means money is needed to do some remodeling to make it a dance studio. That is the purpose of this fundraiser!
There will be 2 dance rooms (Yes – 2!!), so these 2 rooms will need new flooring. Since 2004, the students have had to squeeze into one room and as the academy has grown rehearsals have gotten tighter. Also the one room limits the amount of classes that can be offered. As dance moms, we are so exited that the dancers will have a quality studio with more space and a safe and supportive floor. The new building offers multiple bathrooms and more dressing rooms, as well as ample parking for the parents!
The estimated cost for materials and labor is $18,000. Even though this sounds like a big amount of money, it really would be easy to do if each family got involved. Since there will be no winter recital, we plan to pledge the money that we would have spent on costumes and tickets towards the new flooring. If each Verdi Academy family would pledge $100 that would get us to $12,000. Any amount will help get us closer to our goal, and any amount is so greatly appreciated! Plus, if we share this link with family and friends we could get there easily! Our goal is to have the money raised by the end of January.
Veronica has always tried to help families with fundraising, so the cost of recitals and exams weren’t such an expense. This is such a great opportunity for us to help Veronica with achieving her dream of a new studio!
