Veronica Lynn Freeman

The Freeman family got the worse news a family should never have to hear . Lynn lost her life . She left behind 3 children Andrew 24 , Aiyana 16 & Abigal 12 . Lynn was a teacher for the Poughkeepsie School district and for  WCSD for our summer school program. Lynn loved working with children as a special ed teacher . Lynn loved her job and her co workers. As most of you know Lynn became ill from Lyme disease that then started a never ending battle and fight for her life . Her heart was so big for her family her friends, students & staff but couldn't handle what this horrible disease was doing to her . We all know Covid hit our country and didn't care who it attacked. Lynn was discharge from Vassar hospital to go home little did family know she was sick with Covid but her husband's instincts knew something was wrong and got her to Westchester Medical . Lynn couldn't breathe her body was shutting down but her fight kept her going the love for her family help her fight . Lynn has been at Westchester Nursing home & Rehab for a while now but sadly  Lynn lost that fight Sunday am to Covid  , Lyme & her ❤ couldn't take anymore. She now can rest and watch over her family but as a community we need to help them . Dwayne has been a single dad since Lynn became sick almost a year ago she couldn't work anymore  and he lost his job caring for her and his girls . I want to help Dwayne get back on his feet help him raise those beautiful girls . They need help paying for funeral services as well as providing for his family till he can get back to work . I thank you all for your time , the support you showed this family duing this very difficult time . Dwayne and his children are very thankful and so am I
