Hi my name is Braelyn and the love of my life and life partner Verbal & have been together for 3 years now just as we were starting to build a life together and move to Due West South Carolina to be with his mother and help her in her home, in the midst of all of that and only being there for just 3 weeks the love of my life became ill and life turned on a dime and suddenly changed I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this man who was my rock and my strength fall and basically die in front of me and have to be resuscitated and life-flighted to the hospital in Greenville SC, unbeknownst to us having no idea that he had diabetes he suffered trauma to his leg called acute limb ischemia and all of the doctors tried to save a part of his leg it could not be saved he as well as I had to come to grips with losing part of his leg after he had been through so much. He also suffered pneumonia and damage to his esophagus as they had to intubate him when they life-lilighted him to the hospital I'm so grateful to the EMTs that they saved his life he has been battling this trauma to his body even getting nutrition by NG Tube. Now going on two months he now currently has an abscess on his lung they had to insert a larger tube into his lung and also remove part of his lung and rib to remove the infection in his lung just when I think I'm getting stronger and he's healing I feel like we're dealt something else another hurdle to go through. The most unfortunate part of this is that since we moved I hadn't had the opportunity to look for a job before all of this happened and he is well, so this means neither one of us have health insurance and as you know nothing in life is free I've had to travel to Greenville stay in a hotel just to be near him for support and be his advocate to the doctors. I've never been the type to beg or ask for money I've always worked hard for what I have as has Verbal however we find ourselves having to rely on the kindness of strangers as well as friends and family to assist us financially through this please if you can find it in your heart to give whatever you can whether it's 50 cents to a dollar it will amount to something it will mean something very big to he and I thank you for taking the time out to read this and even if you can't give if you can just keep us in your prayers that means a lot too thank you.
