Hi everyone, my name is Linh, I am writing this to raise funds for my coworker Vera Surjadi on behalf of Vera's family. Vera is an Indonesian immigrant to the USA 2 years ago. She has been a great co-worker and we all love her.

Life is short, no one knows what will happen tomorrow. Vera was a healthy woman and out of the sudden, her health deteriorates fast within a short period time. we brought her to the hospital and she has been staying there for one week. Yesterday, her son Chris told my family that his mom health has improved a little bit. Then today, the hospital informed us Vera has passed away. Since she's hospitalized until now, it was only one week. It is too sudden and her family are not able to cope with this painful news. We all are grieving and in deeply shock.

Vera has 2 little sons. They have just arrived to the US. They mainly depend on Vera's income as the server to cover for their daily living expenses. They are having a hard time covering for Vera's hospital fees and they don't have much money to held a funeral as well as living expenses. They are mourning and grieving over their mom's sudden death.

I have started this funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of Vera's funeral expenses. Her family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time, we are reaching out to the community for help and the remaining donation after the funeral cost will be giving to her sons.
