Vera survived the streets and made it to recovery!

THE STRUGGLE:

My daughter Vera has been on a difficult journey-battling mental health issues, and addiction from a very young age.

Her struggles have taken her down a painful path, leading her through cycles of rehab, and even the harrowing streets of Santa Monica, and Venice. Where she battled homelessness in addition to her addiction.

THE TURNING POINT:

Three months ago, Vera reached a significant juncture in her life. At her lowest point, she found herself alone, pregnant on the streets. Tragically, Vera’s baby was born on the streets, premature and stillborn. Her own life hung in the balance as she battled for survival in the intensive care unit at UCLA medical center, with multiple infections.

THE ROAD TO RECOVERY:

Vera turned this tragic, low point into a miracle by choosing Rehab, with now over 100 days sober. A crucial step on her journey towards recovery, and healing.

I am reaching out to you, seeking your support and generosity, to ensure that Vera receives the care, and time she needs to address the underlying trauma that has haunted her for far too long. This time feels different, it feels like a turning point, a moment of readiness, and willingness to transform her entire life.
