Vera Love's Medical Fund

Vera Love was born full-term on Tuesday, May 2 via emergency c-section.  She was not breathing and had no heart beat. The doctors were able to restart her heart but she is still on assisted breathing and in a coma.  It’s evident that some trauma interrupted Vera’s access to oxygen, but there are no clear answers at this point. MRI and EEG results revealed that Vera’s brain has been profoundly affected. The team in the NICU are doing everything they can for her.

Her two big sisters, Victoria (age 4), and Vivienne (age 2) will meet her for the first time tomorrow, before her breathing tubes are removed.

The next 48 hours are critical as they discover if Vera will be able to survive without support measures. We are waiting for God to reveal his plans for this precious little one.
