Hi, My name is Jo. My best friends name is Vera. She is true blue, not just to me. She is the kindest most loyal friend anyone could ask for. She is always the first to offer help to whoever needs it. Whether it be money, a place to live, money for school, food, a ride, a car, you name it. Vera has done it.

She is in quite a pickle right now. She needs some help. Her car was in a very bad accident and was totaled. She had what she thought was a great insurance policy on her forever car but she didn't read the teeny tiny clause at the bottom that said anyone that lived in her house was not insured if they drove her vehicle and weren't added to her policy. Who knew?

She is responsible for the full amount of the loan of $42,000. In the meantime she has no car. She has to get to work. She also has to drive her son Tim to his medical appointment every day of the week before she goes to work. This is the most important thing.

In order for her to pay off the loan and buy a reasonable vehicle to transport both her and Tim she will have to take out a second mortgage on her house in Manteno, Illinois. The house needs work before she can get the second mortgage to get up to code.

She is stuck. She would never ask but I would.
