Help Andy Rebuild After Losing Everything in the Eaton Canyon Fire
This past year has been incredibly hard for my brother, Andy. He lost everything when the Eaton Canyon Fire destroyed his home. Unfortunately, he was renting with multiple roommates and did not have insurance. While one of his roommates qualified for FEMA assistance, Andy did not. Since then, he’s had to move three times and faces yet another move by the end of the year. As you can imagine, the costs of moving and trying to stay afloat in today’s economy have been overwhelming.
Life hasn’t always been easy for him, but Andy has proven time and again that he’s resilient. He’s the kind of person who sees a challenge and finds a way forward, even if the path isn’t conventional. He has a big heart and truly is a good person, and like all of us, he’s imperfect but fighting to move forward and rebuild.
Andy plans to purchase an RV, transport it from California City to Pasadena, and renovate it into a safe, stable place to live. He has the skills to do the work himself and is not afraid to take on big projects — but covering the transportation and renovation costs is a significant hurdle.
Living in the RV would give Andy much-needed stability, reduce his commute to work, and help him finally get back on his feet.
Here’s how your support can help:
$10 can go toward gas for transporting the RV.
$50 can help cover building materials.
$100 can make progress toward renovation essentials like insulation and wiring.
Any amount makes a difference, and sharing this campaign is equally valuable. Together, we can help Andy take this critical step toward rebuilding his life and finding stability again.
Thank you so much for reading and for supporting Andy during this time.
With gratitude,
