Help honor the memory of Sean Maverick Neely
Donation protected
Sean Maverick Neely was a bright, curious, sweet, energetic, fearless, adventurous, humorous, huggable, kissable beautiful boy who was so full of life. He loved trucks, especially garbage trucks. He loved playing outdoors, especially on walks to the river with his mom and dad. Seanie was beyond cute with his blonde hair, blue eyes, and rosy red cheeks. He was a joyous gift to all who held him, played with him, and loved him.
On May 8, 2025 Seanie was recovering from an open-heart surgery needed to mend his congenital heart defect. Such surgeries are considered routine, but tragically, Seanie’s recovery went awry, and the medical staff could not save him. Seanie left this earthly world too soon at only 22 months of age.
Seanie leaves behind countless family friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandpas, and grandmas. He will forever be the son of Aaron and Ashlyn Neely who wanted and loved Seanie beyond words. Aaron and Ashlyn are now living with a grief as deep as their love for Seanie.
As their loving sister-in-law, I empathize with Ashlyn and Aaron‘s heartache. I vow to support them through this painful journey with frequent check-ins, zero judgement, and unending patience. I admire the strength they have already shown despite their immense sorrow. Will you also help support these amazing parents?
Although not necessary, any amount of financial support will be put towards Seanie’s Celebration of Life and to help Aaron and Ashlyn while they take time off work. If you can’t afford to donate, support need not come financially. Please honor Seanie in any way you can. Perhaps with kind words, a warm embrace, or in the words of Ashlyn:
“As you move through your days, we hope you’ll pause to notice the little things - the flowers at your feet, the airplanes overhead, the garbage truck making its rounds. That’s where we‘ll find him. In every small joy he loved so dearly, in every quiet wonder we might have missed - forever our Seanie, exclaiming with delight, ‘Garbage truck!! Dumps it in.’”
