Venus "Victory" Charles Homegoing
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the recent loss of Greco Middle School 6th grader Venus Charles.
She lost her battle with Diabetes on June 4th at 1:04p.m.. She was a wonderful AVID student and a faithful member of GLOW Girls (our girl empowerment group).
Her adjective was "Victory" Venus. She loved Unicorns and rainbows. She was an organ donor. Her pancreas will be donated to research for Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. Her Liver will be donated to a child in Texas. Her heart will be donated to a child in Florida.
Some of you might have even seen her grandfather (Timothy Graham) on campus from time to time, as he is a district employee. We were able to interview her mother (Mrs. Graham) this past weekend. Here are a few notes:
She leaves behind her mom, dad, stepdad, and three younger siblings ages 9, 4, and 10 months. Her mother has been out of work due to COVID-19.
The funeral will be this Saturday in Ocala, Florida where they are originally from.
They are in need of financial assistance for the homegoing services and beyond, pampers, food, and transportation.
Please share the information with as many people as possible to raise funds for Venus' Homegoing. They have no food allergies and will accept any type of gift cards. We are working to also use the Meal Train app once she and the family return from Ocala.
