Oozing Future is an award winning circus and physical theatre company from Melbourne Australia. We specialise in creating visually poetic and emotionally moving performances that are both experimental and accessible - like Strange Chaos (best circus Melbourne Fringe 2026) and Apocrypha (Darebin Arts Centre 2025).

As part of our sector leadership we have established an annual series of free artist workshops to help our community engage with futures thinking, community building and alternative approaches to creativity.

Creative director Mitch Jones organises and teaches these workshops and discussion sessions for free to ensure that they can reach as many people as possible. With arts funding becoming harder and harder to access, we’re asking our supporters to chip in and help us cover the overhead costs of the Creative Lab - specifically the $1350 hire fee for the venue and the cost of teaching materials that we provide to artists.

This year we are holding the workshops at Next Wave, and just like us they are struggling with funding. So every dollar donated here goes into the budgets of arts organisations on the ground in Naarm/Melbourne who are doing the really important work of keeping our sector curious and compassionate.
