On June 24, 2026, powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela, leaving families without homes, clean water, food, and access to basic necessities. Like many Venezuelans living abroad, I watched the news with a heavy heart, knowing that countless people were facing unimaginable hardship. My name is Leo Hernandez, and I live in West Palm Beach, Florida. I have decided that watching from a distance is not enough. I am organizing a community-wide humanitarian relief effort to collect essential supplies and personally coordinate their shipment to the affected communities in Venezuela.
I am volunteering my time to organize this relief effort. All donated funds will be used for humanitarian supplies and shipping expenses. We are collecting bottled water, diapers, baby formula, non-perishable food, hygiene products, first aid supplies, blankets, flashlights, batteries, and other emergency items. Every donation—whether supplies or financial support—will help us provide immediate relief to families who have lost so much. Funds raised through this campaign will be used exclusively to purchase emergency supplies that are in short supply, cover packing materials and transportation, pay shipping and logistics costs to deliver aid to Venezuela, and ensure donations reach the communities that need them most.
Transparency is one of my highest priorities. I will regularly post receipts, photos, and progress updates so donors can see exactly how their contributions are being used. Throughout this campaign, I will post updates showing the supplies collected, packing efforts, shipping progress, and delivery whenever possible so every donor can see the impact of their generosity.
This effort is powered by our South Florida community, but its impact will reach families hundreds of miles away who urgently need our help. Whether you can donate supplies, contribute financially, or simply share this campaign, you are becoming part of something bigger than any one person. Together, we can turn compassion into action and bring hope to families during one of the most difficult moments they have ever faced. Thank you for standing with Venezuela.
