Who we are. We are the tournament organizers (TOs) of Venezuela's fighting game community (FGC) — the people who run the competitive scenes for Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros., Guilty Gear, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, and more. We're not an anonymous account: we're the same organizers behind events like Stone Ocean and the FGC's presence at the Venezuela Game Show, where hundreds of players have gathered to compete over the years. Some of us also founded Domotai Technologies LLC, a U.S.-registered company started by members of this same group of organizers, which is supporting this campaign with logistics, organization, and reach.

Where we're from

We are from Venezuela, organizing across the country's different regional FGC scenes. The community we serve, and the families this campaign supports, are based in Venezuela.

Our relationship to the people we're raising funds for. The affected members aren't strangers to us — they are part of our own community. They're players we've competed against, friends we've shared brackets and venues with, people we've built this scene alongside for years. We are raising funds directly for members of our own community and their families.

Today we're uniting for something much harder than a tournament. The earthquake on June 24th hit our people hard. Within the FGC, we're already mourning the loss of HBKing, a beloved member of the Venezuelan community, and we know of at least three members who lost their homes entirely: Kenny Hernández (KaioKen), Raider Godoy (Berserker), and Joshua North (Joshynorth). We're actively mapping our community to identify everyone affected, so that number may grow in the coming days as we reach more people.

How the funds will be spent

Funds go directly to the affected members we confirm through our mapping, prioritized by urgency. Based on current prices in Venezuela, here's what supporting each affected household looks like:

Housing: roughly $500–700/month in rent, funded for up to a year, so families have stability while they rebuild.

Food and water: around $740/month for a family of five — the current cost of a basic family food basket in Venezuela — funded as a bridge while they recover their income.

Utilities, medicine, and health: electricity, gas, internet, and a reserve for medications and urgent care.

Restarting a home: a one-time amount (~$800–1,500) for mattresses, basic furniture, kitchen essentials, and clothing for families who lost everything.

That comes to roughly $12,000–15,700 per displaced household. For the family of HBKing, the member we lost, we're covering a dignified funeral service and immediate living support through the hardest weeks — roughly $3,300–6,000.

For the four cases we've already confirmed — three displaced households and one grieving family — that's about $39,000–53,000. Every figure here is an estimate based on real, current prices in Venezuela, and we'll adjust to each family's actual situation and city.

What we need right now

We're starting with a first milestone of $18,000 — enough to respond immediately: getting every confirmed family into safe housing right away and covering the funeral for the family we lost. That's the urgent floor, and it's where your help goes first.

The four cases above are only what we know today. Our mapping is still underway, and as we reach more of the community we expect to find more families who lost homes and more people in need. As we confirm new cases and reach each milestone, we'll raise our goal accordingly and report exactly where every dollar went, step by step. If we ever raise more than the confirmed need, every extra dollar stays in the community: it will be distributed proportionally among the affected families, according to need. Nothing is kept back.

Our commitment to transparency

This campaign is run jointly by the different Venezuelan FGC scenes' TOs — not a single individual.

Domotai Technologies LLC, founded by members of our own group of TOs, supports this campaign with logistics, organization, and reach. Domotai does not collect or manage the funds and receives no part of what's raised — 100% goes directly to affected members of the community.

We'll publicly account for every dollar raised and delivered, with reports and proof for the community.

Aid goes directly to confirmed affected members from our mapping — no middlemen.

Every contribution matters, no matter how small. And if you can't donate, sharing this campaign helps enormously — the further it travels, the more of our people we can lift back up.

Quiénes somos

Somos los organizadores de torneos (TOs) de la comunidad de juegos de pelea (FGC) de Venezuela — las personas que llevan las escenas competitivas de Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros., Guilty Gear, Tekken, Mortal Kombat y más. No somos una cuenta anónima: somos los mismos organizadores detrás de eventos como los Stone Ocean y la presencia de la FGC en la Venezuela Game Show, donde cientos de jugadores se han reunido a competir durante años. Parte de nosotros también fundó Domotai Technologies LLC, una empresa registrada en EE.UU. creada por miembros de este mismo grupo de organizadores, que apoya esta campaña con logística, organización y alcance.

De dónde somos

Somos de Venezuela, organizando a lo largo de las distintas escenas regionales de la FGC del país. La comunidad a la que servimos, y las familias que esta campaña apoya, están en Venezuela.

Nuestra relación con las personas para quienes recaudamos. Los miembros afectados no son desconocidos para nosotros: son parte de nuestra propia comunidad. Son jugadores contra quienes hemos competido, amigos con quienes hemos compartido brackets y eventos, gente con la que hemos construido esta escena durante años. Estamos recaudando fondos directamente para miembros de nuestra propia comunidad y sus familias.

Hoy nos unimos por una razón mucho más dura que un torneo. El terremoto del 24 de junio golpeó a nuestra gente. Dentro de la comunidad FGC ya lamentamos el fallecimiento de HBKing, un querido miembro de la comunidad venezolana, y sabemos de al menos tres miembros que perdieron por completo sus hogares: Kenny Hernández (KaioKen), Raider Godoy (Berserker) y Joshua North (Joshynorth). Estamos haciendo un mapeo activo para identificar a todos los afectados, así que esa cifra puede crecer en los próximos días a medida que logramos contactar a más personas.

En qué se gastará el dinero

Lo recaudado va directo a los afectados que confirmamos a través del mapeo, priorizando por urgencia. Con base en los costos actuales en Venezuela, así se ve apoyar a cada hogar afectado:

Vivienda: alrededor de $500–700 al mes de alquiler, financiado hasta por un año, para que las familias tengan estabilidad mientras se reconstruyen.

Alimentación y agua: unos $740 al mes para una familia de cinco —el costo actual de la canasta alimentaria básica en Venezuela— como puente mientras recuperan sus ingresos.

Servicios, medicinas y salud: luz, gas, internet y una reserva para medicamentos y atención urgente.

Re-arranque del hogar: un monto único (~$800–1,500) para colchones, muebles básicos, enseres de cocina y ropa para las familias que lo perdieron todo.

Esto equivale a aproximadamente $12,000–15,700 por hogar desplazado. Para la familia de HBKing, el miembro que falleció, cubrimos un servicio funerario digno y apoyo inmediato durante las semanas más duras — alrededor de $3,300–6,000.

Para los cuatro casos que ya confirmamos —tres hogares desplazados y una familia en duelo— esto suma cerca de $39,000–53,000. Cada cifra es un estimado basado en precios reales y actuales en Venezuela, y la ajustaremos a la situación y ciudad de cada familia.

Lo que necesitamos ahora mismo

Comenzamos con un primer milestone de $18,000 — lo necesario para responder de inmediato: poner a cada familia confirmada bajo un techo seguro ya y cubrir el funeral de la familia que perdimos. Ese es el piso urgente, y es a donde va tu ayuda primero.

Los cuatro casos de arriba son solo lo que conocemos hoy. El mapeo sigue en marcha, y a medida que lleguemos a más miembros de la comunidad esperamos encontrar más familias que perdieron su hogar y más personas que necesitan ayuda. Conforme confirmemos nuevos casos y alcancemos cada milestone, subiremos la meta en consecuencia y rendiremos cuentas de exactamente a dónde fue cada dólar, paso a paso. Si en algún momento recaudamos más de la necesidad confirmada, cada dólar adicional se queda en la comunidad: se distribuirá de forma proporcional entre las familias afectadas, según la necesidad. No se retiene nada.

Nuestro compromiso con la transparencia

La campaña la administramos en conjunto los TOs de las distintas comunidades que forman la FGC, no una sola persona.

Domotai Technologies LLC, fundada por miembros de nuestro mismo grupo de TOs, apoya esta campaña con logística, organización y alcance. Domotai no recauda ni administra los fondos y no recibe ninguna parte de lo recaudado: el 100% va directo a los afectados de la comunidad.

Vamos a rendir cuentas públicamente de cada dólar recaudado y entregado, con reportes y evidencia para la comunidad.

La ayuda se entrega directamente a los afectados confirmados en el mapeo, sin intermediarios.

Cada aporte cuenta, por pequeño que sea. Y si no puedes donar, compartir esta campaña también ayuda muchísimo: mientras más lejos llegue, a más de los nuestros podemos levantar.

La comunidad FGC de Venezuela siempre se ha cuidado entre sí. Hoy se lo demostramos a los que más lo necesitan.
