On June 24, two major earthquakes struck northern Venezuela, just west of Caracas. The damage has been devastating. Over 3,000 lives have been lost, tens of thousands more injured, and entire communities across Caracas and La Guaira have been flattened. Weeks later, families are still displaced and relief efforts are ongoing.

For us, this isn't a distant headline.

We're Elevate Teams, a remote staffing company that connects talented professionals across Latin America with independent insurance agencies in the U.S. Nearly 15% of our team calls Venezuela home. These are people who show up for their agencies every single day, and many of them have spent the past weeks worried about parents, siblings, and friends caught in the middle of this.

From the moment the news broke, our community rallied. We checked on one another, pooled what we could, and found ways to get help to the families who needed it most.
