Barn families are a very special, unique unit. Those of you who are part of a barn family, recognize its sacred status. A dear member of our barn family, needs our help. Jose Vernancio Cortez, fondly known around the farm as "V", has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is underdoing comprehensive treatment. V has been an artery of Suwanee Point Farm for decades, serving as a dedicated teammate for the farm's day to day activities. Anyone who knows V, knows him as a friend. He always greets everyone with a big smile and a jovial laugh. Even on the hottest or coldest of days, or in the face of profound struggles, V always has a smile on his face. V is truly an animal lover, which is apparent in his dedication to the horses in his care, his chickens, and dogs. And naturally, he is a dedicated family man.
