Ven. Saccananda needs your help to build 2 rooms.
Ven. Dr. Saccānanda Mahāthera is the founder and abbot of Brahma Vihāra Meditation Center in Westbury, Long Island, New York. [Venerable Saccananda's Bio] He is building a large meditation center in his home country near Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, which will handle many monks and teach suttas and meditation using those suttas as his guide.
He has saved his donations for the last 12 years and has spent it all on the First floor and foundation for the center -see pictures below.
Now all the money is spent and he needs more funds for concrete, bricks and other materials.
He wants to build at least 2 rooms for the resident monks and novices to live in. Then, as he gets funds he will gradually build out the first floor and after that add more floors. This is his lifelong dream.
We need at least $2000 for each room to complete them; $4000 total. But we can do more for this noble Dhamma project which will be existing for years to train more monks.
So please help us with any funds you can spare and leave your own legacy of a Buddhist Temple for others to attain Nibbana!
