Hi. My name is Stephanie but I go by Annie to this little man. My nephew turned 15 years old while admitted to Children's Hospital Los Angeles this past week and thought he would add to the party by having his little heart fail. Upon learning his stay is indefinite and costly, yes, even with amazing insurance, there is still a huge bill coming our way.

My sister and her husband have adopted all five of their children and we are a huge family. I make a living using words and in this moment of writing, words are eluding me. How can it be possible that this little guy is literally fighting for his life? His heart isn't working properly, which is filling his lungs with fluid along with his liver acting a fool and numbers spiking...I can think of a thousand other things to do if I was turning 15 again. I'm pretty sure Ven can, too.

I know this is a goal and a half, or so I'm told, but this is what we need and perhaps more. If anyone and everyone donated even one dollar, we could spread this like wildfire and help.
