Hello,

My name is Eli Swetnam. I am an amateur filmmaker who is currently building up a solid portfolio of short films. When I was a child, I was always terrified of horror films and anything within the realm of terror. As I grew older, my terror slowly morphed into a somewhat morbid curiosity. The monsters on screen became works of art that I dreamed that one day, I could be my own Dr. Frankenstein that could bring my own creatures to life.

For years, I have been building my own monster of a storyline that I have been dreaming of producing. However, being a current film student (graduating in Spring '26), I understand that most of the series I have written, including a pilot, is not within my budget range. However, I have been sitting on this idea for too long to not pull stories from this rich setting and storyline that I have been drafting. Introducing V-Empire, an episodic crime drama miniseries involving cold blooded vampires.

The Series Concept:

V-Empire:

Initially taking place in the 1950s, this series plans to take the story through multiple generations of time centered around an immortal baby-faced vampire. Zachariah Brimstone, a nineteen-year-old teenage mafioso turned vampire, has to survive in a world where vampirism still remains a myth, but to bring attention to the underworld leads to pure chaos. Therefore, to avoid detection (and keep his own morals in check), Zach chooses to rob blood trucks and organ donation centers to keep himself and his newfound gang of vampires alive, or rather undead for longer.

It's Goodfellas meets Dracula.

My goal with this fundraiser is to produce a micro-budget episodic mini-series that takes place across the decade's long timeline of the complex yet bloody exciting universe of "V-Empire". If the stars align, the story that will unfold will be a long bloody and wild ride.
