Dear Friends and Kind-Hearted individuals,

We are reaching out to you today asking for your support for our dear friend, Vembukumar Chelliah (fondly known as Vembu), who is based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Recently(three months back), Vembu underwent an emergency surgery after being airlifted to critical care following a sudden heart attack. While at the hospital in South Jordan, UT, USA, he was presented to the emergency room and was diagnosed of chest pain radiating to the back, dizziness, syncope and found to have complete heart block requiring 30 minutes of transcutaneous pacing. He was found to have inferior STEMI and had a successful PCI procedure.

The below are some of the procedures that Vembu had to go through for his heart situation:

1) ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) of inferior wall (HCC)

2) Coronary artery disease, unspecified vessel or lesion type, unspecified whether angina present, unspecified whether native or transplanted heart

3) Anemia, unspecified type

4) hyperlipidemia, unspecified hyperlipidemia type

While Vembu is now on the road to recovery, the financial burden of medical bills, follow-up care has become overwhelming.

Vembu is a very kind person who has always been there for others, offering support and kindness without a second thought. Now, we friends, have come together to setup this fund to support him and his family during this challenging time.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards covering medical expenses, medications, and any other costs related to recovery. Any contribution, big or small, will make a tremendous difference and provide much-needed relief for Vembu and his immediate family.
