Amanda Hewitt Johnson Stroke Fund
Donation protected
Stroke is the #4 cause of death and leading cause of disability in the U.S.
As many of you know, 38 year old Amanda Hewitt Johnson fell victim of a stroke on May 16, 2015 while driving. She was taken to Memorial Hospital then transported to Erlanger. She stayed in the tramua ICU there for a few days before being moved to a private room. Saturday evening she was moved to Siskin Rehab to start her learning/healing process. She and her husband, Kenny Johnson have been out of work for a week now. We aren't sure how much longer she will be in Siskin. We do know that even though the ability to work has stopped, the bills have not stopped. They keep adding up. Amanda has a huge heart and goes above and beyond for others. They have five children, three of them living in their home. All three of them are thinking about how they can help during the summer with getting jobs. Children with big hearts overflowing with love and concern.
Amanda will have a long road ahead, even after she returns home. She starts her learning process on Monday. She will be in 3 hour sessions a day. Learning to walk without assistance and how to use her left arm again. Her speech has improved the last few days.
I've had several people ask me to start the go fund me page so that they could donate. I've started this in hopes of raising money to help the family. If you find God calling you to donate, we can't express how deeply appreciative we are. Prayer is always needed and the most important thing that we ask of you. Most of all, we know that our God is a loving and healing God. We believe in the power of prayer and its miraculous healing.
