My name is Velvetina Taylor and I am SO excited to announce my upcoming 2018 Pistons and Pasties tour, August 11th - August 26th, cross-country from NYC to San Francisco.
I'm a burlesque performer, host, producer and motorcycle enthusiast, based in New York City. I have never been one to take the back seat, whether I'm riding my 1200cc Harley-Davidson motorcycle or taking center-stage in the opulently outrageous world of burlesque entertainment.
2018 PISTONS AND PASTIES TOUR MISSION
On August 11th, I will be embarking on the 2018 Pistons and Pasties tour. With your help, I will be able to create video content, so you can ride along with me, every step of the way as I teach classes, experience the majesty of natural landmarks, expose audiences to the empowering art form of burlesque and inspire others to find the confidence to pursue their passion.
The Pistons and Pasties tours are truly the most meaningful thing I have done in my life and I would love your support in taking on the challenge and sharing this amazing experience with you.
TOUR EXPENSES
Your donation will enable this adventure to begin!
- Most importantly, quality video content will be created from my tour footage, to be posted within a 24-hour time frame and to reach a larger audience, so you'll be traveling along with me, every day of the tour from start to finish.
- This is a one-way trip, so I will have to ship my bike back home to NYC when I reach the end of the tour. I have found a reliable, cost-effective way to do this, but it will be the most expensive aspect of the trip.
- Gas mileage is great on a motorcycle, but there are still a lot of miles to ride!
- Motorcycle Maintenance: My friends at Harley-Davidson of NYC will make sure I have the safest start to my trip with a full maintenance check before I depart.
- Motels/Budget Hotels will be necessary in more remote locations where I can't find a performer friend to stay with.
- Necessary gear upgrades, including a new, full-face helmet and full-finger gloves for safety. I will do everything I can to keep costs low on this life-changing journey.
The goal is to reach a wider audience with my message of self-empowerment and inspiring others to do what they love.
