Velvet Hammer Vets

I have always loved helping others. It could be as simple as holding the door for someone, paying for a meal, or helping to scale a career. This effort puts all of my passions in one place. Women, veterans, people from colorful backgrounds, career assistance and helping others. 

I realized in developing my passion, that there is a huge divide in the workforce between men and women in corporate settings, and an even greater divide for veteran women in the workplace. This nonprofit seeks to bridge a gap in the disparity. Military BIPOC and LGBTQIA women have distinct perspective, honed job skills and strong values that are unique and beneficial in the workplace. 

Please help me to make a difference in someone's life. Every single donor dollar from this two week kickstart campaign will fund start up costs that include tax exemption filing, bookkeeping, contract and grant writing. Any remaining funds will be used to directly fund our first clients in job skills programs and placement assistance during this beta year.
