Thursday, November 25th 2021, Thanksgiving morning.

My brother Lucio and sister in law Susan Velazquez, along with my nephews Lucio and Lucas, suffered an unimaginable tragedy, Their family home was destroyed due to an electrical fire that started in my oldest nephew Lucio room, which resulted in causing extensive damages to their home, we are so thankful that my nephew Lucio woke up and alerted my brother and sister in law what was going on and were able to get out on time and uninjured.

They left with the shirts on their backs, not much more. Insurance will cover the house and some of the contents, but that takes time. They need basic necessities in the mean time. Anything you can do to ease the burden, helps. My nephew Lucio lost everything in his room, I’m so proud of his bravery.

If you know anything about my bother Lucio, and sister in law Susan , you know they go the extra mile for everyone they know. They are 2 of the most selfless people I know.

Something like this is extremely hard any day of the year, especially on the holidays.
