My family, nephew Clay Velasquez, niece Sanci Velasquez, brother Danny Velasquez and sister-in-law Amberly Velasquez have all lost their homes and all of their belongings in the Paradise "Camp Fire", THE MOST DESTRUCTIVE FIRE IN CALIFORNIA  HISTORY.  The entire town burned, 6400 homes and 260 commercial/retail businesses. Thankfully, they were able to evacuate with their lives and are now staying with friends temporarily, as they try to maintain their work schedules.  Clay works for a Solar company. Sancia is a Vet Tech, Amberly works at Home Depot and her 2nd job, burned in the fire, Danny is in construction.  We are blessed to have family and friends offering household supplies and clothing etc. which we will be gathering and taking up to them in the next week.  There are many needs that will need to be met that can't necessarily be donated.  We are trying to raise $5000, which will be $1250 for each, to help offset security deposits on new rentals, work shoes and uniforms, tools, personal "clothing" needs and so much more.  Look around your home and think what it would be like to lose everything in sight and leave with the clothes on your back.  Overwhelming to say the least.  We are hoping that we can help raise money to offset 1st and last months rent and security deposits on new apartments, as they will not get a refund on their old places for a very long time if at all.  We are also trying to collect gift cards to WalMart and Target for personal hygiene items, people food and dog food.
