On Sunday, January 3rd, my brother (Erik Jr.) and sister in law (Brandy) and their two dogs (spud and biggie mama) were in a horrifying car accident. Brandy was flung from the car as it flipped and pierced underneath by her ankle. Thankfully, bystanders lifted the car and held her until help came. She suffers from a punctured liver, lacerations all over her head and body, as well as life changing circumstances. Erik remained in the car, but suffers from a major concussion, broken back and lacerations all over his body as well. By the grace of God, the love of family and friends and many many prayers, they are both going home! With that being said, Erik will not be able to return to work as he will need ongoing physical therapy for his broken back. Both Erik and Brandy do not have health insurance. Brandy’s mom (Aubrey), Erik’s mom (Yolanda) and I would be grateful for your help during their recovery. The money would go towards hospital bills, car expenses (their car was totaled) and everyday expenses. Erik and Brandy share a 3 year old daughter together (Sofiyah) and she is so happy to have her mommy and daddy home!
