I'm reaching out to all of you because I am in need of help and don't know what else to do.

I am in need of almost $10,000.

I have about $7,000 worth of work on my car that is needed and I'm going to need tires pretty soon.

I lost my husband 5 years ago. He was the love of my life, my best friend, and also the one who kept all the cars running.

Money has been very tight the last 4 years. I am on a fixed income from my husband's retirement. I am so thankful to have that. If not for that, I don't think I'd even have a home, much less a car or anything else.

I am basically disabled, although I have no official proof. I have no insurance and no money, so no way to get evaluated for that. I have severe knee and back problems.

I support a son who is not able to work a normal job. Long story, and not exactly mine to tell. I strongly suspect some level of autism, but again, no insurance, no money.

In an effort to keep the bills paid and us fed, we DoorDash together. He doesn't drive and I can't do the running around, so it's a good partnership.

Unfortunately, it has greatly shortened the life of my car. I owe too much to just get rid of it and without it, I have no way to make money.

It needs a new transmission, new rotors and brakes, plus several regular maintenance services. It will also need new tires pretty soon. Definitely by winter.

As it is, I only barely stay afloat, and it's a struggle every month.

I try to help others in every way I can, but this time, I'm the one who desperately needs help.
