Vegilicious Rebirth

Vegilicious in St. Kilda has been a staple for vegetarians, vegans and Soul Food lovers alike for 14 years in the Melbourne and interstate community of alternate lifestyle, festivals and experiences. 

Giovanna Ghelardini, the soul mama behind Vegilicious is renowned forher warm energy, open heart and fierce nature and has touched many hearts and bellies through her business and approach to sustainable, eco-focused living. 



Vegilicious has worked closely with the inner St Kilda community through projects like Lentil As Anything, local Councils, Primary Schools and Charities along with various other projects and events across greater Melbourne. Vegilicious is already underway for the busy summer festival season, already being signed in for events such as Pleasure Garden, Tanglewood, Rainbow Serpent, Piknic Electrik, Tanglewood and many, many more.

On the 21st of November 2018, in a three car convoy on the way to Strawberry Fields, two of Geo's staff members crashed at 100km an hour into a safety fence. Miraculously both staff members walked away unharmed but very, very shaken.



Both the vehicle and cool room are a right off and need to be replaced as soon as possible to ensure all the upcoming festivals, events and the restaurant itself can go on. Geo's work vehicle and cool room are her livelihood for this upcoming festival season, along with being a key part of running a smooth operation for the restaurant.
