My name is Andres Vega , and I am reaching out to you during a critical time in my life. I was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a rare heart condition, and I am now facing the urgent need for a heart transplant to survive.

I have recently started new medication, which is my last resort before moving forward with the transplant. Unfortunately, this journey has placed immense financial strain on my family and me. My mom and step dad has been working incredibly hard to provide for me, as i've gotten this news my mom has cut back from working 12 hours shifts to only 4 hours a day, my step dad has taken many days off of work to help my mom cope with this as this is very hard on her as mother, to help care for me as well to trying to support us while I navigate my health struggles. I made the difficult decision to quit my job to focus on my health and treatment, which has added to our financial burden.

I am creating this GoFundMe to help cover the overwhelming costs associated with my heart transplant, including:

- Medical bills for the transplant surgery

- Ongoing treatments and medications

- Pre-operative tests and evaluations

- Post-surgery care expenses
