In memory of my brother in law who I absolutely adored. Loving husband to my sister, father to my beautiful young nieces, son to my Mum & Dad, best friend to my Leo & godfather to my son Raffy as well as twin brother, brother, cousin & friend to so many.
It's been a week today but nothing seems to ease the pain, erase our guilt or make the tears stop so I wanted to channel this very much unwanted energy/heartache into something meaningful. Oli talked about going vegan for January, so I will promise to do so in his memory for the rest of the month. Anyone who knows me well will know I would never willingly choose this lifestyle (no disrespect for those that do I'm just not disciplined enough!) & I'm not quite sure how I'll cope without cheese, chocolate or mayo (as Oli & Aria call it "big Bob"!) but I will do so to raise money for Laura & the girls. They can put it towards anything they choose; funeral costs, personal finances or the mental health charity that I know Lal & the family really want to support; https://www.thecalmzone.net/

Oli truly was the most unique man, so loving, so kind, so hilariously silly with the biggest heart. He would go above & beyond for anyone so I already know I'm doing this to make him proud.
I wasn't even going to put a goal amount as anything would be amazingly generous right now but please support the girls, the family & Oli with whatever you can. Thank you all so so much, in advance.
Ol bear, I miss you more than yesterday but less than tomorrow & I will forever carry around the guilt & heartache that I couldn't save you. Or, that I didn't even realise you needed saving. I'm not even sure what's worse.
We must all learn to talk more. Our mental health is just as important as our internal or physical, maybe even more so as it is just so precious. We really need to look after it & never ever feel shame admitting we are not okay.
Your twin brother Scott has said "a person only truly dies when they are forgotten" & we will never, ever forget you so I guess that means you'll live forever.
