Vegan Thick

Hi, I'm Shay, owner of Vegan Thick, a company created to debunk the myth that all vegans are skinny and to highlight extraordinary plant-based eating, drinking, and living. Vegan Thick, was created as a result of a passion project. I had begun writing reviews on my blog about the different vegan restaurants or restaurants with vegan options.  My options were far and few, and I saw a need in the vegan/ plant-based community. 


As a result, I decided to create a company that helps expand vegan/ plant-based restaurant options, reflects and exuberates love and joy, and will assist in uplifting the community. 



Imagine a space of serenity with an eatery serving authentic culturally inspired vegan dishes. You're surrounded by smooth music and a beautiful botanical decor while sipping a cold glass of freshly pressed juice.  That's what I am developing. 




Right now, I am scouting land in low-income areas of Atlanta, GA. Unfortunately, low-income areas are saturated with unhealthy fast-food restaurants, causing the population to be more prone to heart and health disease. The people living and working in these communities deserve equal access to balanced and nutritious cuisine, just as they have more than enough access to unhealthy options.




 This space will not only liberate the community health-wise, but it will assist in liberating it financially. My goal is to support local farmers and businesses by utilizing them as vendors for the restaurant's produce and herbs. I also plan to provide jobs to locals within the community and hope to bring monetary traffic from the outside within.

Land: $60,000
Building material and construction: $125,000
Commercial kitchen: $45,000
Furniture & Decor: $25,000
