Hello, my name is Veevee and I lost my job in December 2024 and have not been able to find a new one since. Today I just received a 3-day pay or quit notice for my rent because I am less than a full month behind. If you could spare anything to help keep me in my home I would be incredibly grateful.

Update: We have been able to avoid eviction thanks to everyone's help, but we are still struggling. We are at risk of defaulting on the car and if that is repo'd then eviction will quickly follow. Please help us continue to survive this economic hellhole with whatever donation you are able to.

Update 2, January 2026: Unfortunately my wife and I have decided to separate. I am still unemployed, but doing Uber eats to get just enough money to currently survive because my wife pays the majority of bills. We will be giving 30 day notice to our landlord shortly, and I have no money to move. A friend offered me a room, but I don't have the money for moving expenses, let alone a security deposit, and rent+bills will leave me with no money for food.

Y'all, I need all the help I can get.
