Hi, my name is William and this is my tutor, David. We are raising money for the Salvation Army for my year 9 Rite Journey project. We intend to walk 12km to raise money and awareness for homelessness in Western Australia. We will start our journey at the Salvation Army Perth Fortress on William Street, and will be walking to St. David's Anglican Church in Ardross.

I chose to raise money for the Salvation Army because I've always bought from and donated to the Salvos and I think they are a great charity because they help support the homeless and most vulnerable in society. I decided to walk because I wanted to experience an aspect of homelessness such as not owning a car. I chose to do this project with my tutor, David, because he is a good role model who likes to help people.
