Why Yagyas in Kashi?

Hindu scriptures have outlined the science of karma, cycles of time, and the cosmic forces which govern the universe to the microscopic detail.

Kashi, or Varanasi, is the spiritual knowledge core of our civilisation and world. Vedic Rituals (yagyas) here bear manifold more fruit than anywhere else. One of the biggest reasons we have survived until now, is the strength of these ritualistic traditions and invocation of deities such as Kaal Bhairav and Maa Durga. Every single warrior of Hindu civilisation gained their strength from this core.
