Help a Single Mom of Two Fight Breast Cancer While Caring for Her Family
Hi everyone,
I’m creating this GoFundMe for my best friend—an extraordinary woman who is facing an unimaginable amount of hardship all at once.
At 43 years old, she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is preparing for a double mastectomy. She is a single mother of two children, and her greatest concern right now is making sure they are cared for, stable, and supported while she undergoes surgery and recovery.
In addition to battling cancer, she is also the primary caregiver for her elderly mother, who is in her 70s and living with early-onset dementia. Recently, her mother suffered a serious fall and broke her hip, requiring even more hands-on care and support—care my friend provides while juggling her own health crisis.
To make matters worse, her only vehicle has been in the repair shop for over two months, making it incredibly difficult to get to medical appointments, care for her mother, get her children where they need to be, and manage daily responsibilities.
Despite working hard and doing everything she can, the financial strain has become overwhelming. Between medical expenses, upcoming surgery and recovery time, caregiving responsibilities, transportation issues, and everyday living costs, she is in urgent need of help.
This is someone who gives endlessly to others and never asks for anything in return—but right now, she cannot do this alone.
How Your Support Will Help
Donations will go directly toward:
• Breast cancer treatment and double mastectomy expenses
• Recovery-related costs and loss of income during healing
• Household bills and basic living needs for her and her children
• Transportation needs while her car remains unusable
• Care support for her mother during this critical period
Every contribution—no matter the amount—will help relieve the immense pressure she is under and allow her to focus on healing, being present for her children, and continuing to care for her mother.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can express.
Thank you for standing with her and her family during the hardest chapter of their lives.
