Help George Beat Pancreatic Cancer!
Donation protected
There are times when we ask ourselves, “Why do bad things happen to good people?” Unfortunately, this is one of those times. George Cornelius, father, son, brother, boyfriend, and friend to many, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, one of the most aggressive types of this terrible disease. Currently, there is a 9% chance of survival, but anyone who knows George knows that he loves to beat the odds! However, to effectively fight this disease, we are asking for your help.
Despite the fact that George has always taken excellent care of himself, from eating well, to limiting alcohol consumption, to consistently riding his bike, he still must battle this horrible disease. This diagnosis was a serious shock and has turned all of our lives upside down.
George has been receiving chemotherapy but unfortunately, the first 8 rounds did not work and the cancer has spread to several spots on his lungs. Thankfully, the new chemo is working and hopefully shrinking the tumor, but there is still a long and uncertain road ahead. There is a glimmer of hope though!
George is meeting with a geneticist, who wants to run some tests to determine the make-up of the cancer and the type of treatment that might work best for him. This is where we need your help! These tests are out of network, very expensive, and he will need at least two of them. Any amount you can spare towards George’s treatment is genuinely appreciated, as we hope to find some answers soon.
Thank you in advance for considering a donation. We are truly grateful to have so many friends and family supporting us and sending their prayers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
