Help Keep a Caring Family in Their Home

Born and raised in Charlotte, NC. Me and my children have been living in our home for 5 years. I work full-time for Mecklenburg County and work part-time doing hair. Life is hard and we all go through ups and downs. Well, our life has been in shambles lately. We have gotten behind on rent unfortunately due to increased rental fees without notification. I have gone to crisis and tried to get assistance; they are only willing to pay $200 towards rent. I do have money saved up, but with legal fees and late fees, the amount owed is significantly higher than what I have. They are also not willing to wait until the 9th for full payment (which is the next pay date). I usually don't ask for help, but with an open eviction and unpaid balance, it will be very hard to relocate on short notice. Anything given is more than appreciated ❤️
