As most of you know my daughter just gave birth to a baby. As you all know my business is decimated. In normal times, I could help my daughter. Right now, I’m humiliated to say, I can’t. Friday the baby went to the doctor. She has a severe tongue tie and it is preventing proper breast feeding. They require $800 upfront at the specialist. Friday night the paramedics were called to my daughters house as she couldn’t breathe. Saturday she spent all in the ER. It’s going to thousands of more dollars. She does not get paid maternity leave. (Yes that’s perfectly legal). Arlo gets no benefits or Medicaid and we’re trying to get him an AAC. The speech tests alone were over 500. His father gives no help. I cannot possibly work any more than I am. I’m doing what I can but it isn’t much. This is very humbling and difficult but I want my grandchild to get medical help. I know times are very difficult for everyone but if you have anything to help it will be very much appreciated
