GoFundMe Community, family, friends, and schoolmates of Lewis Cano, we are asking for your help in raising funds.  Lewis is bravely finding Leukemia and is receiving treatments in Calgary.  His parents and stepdad are travelling back and forth to Calgary to the Stollery Children's Hospital.  Lewis's mom, Pam, will be off work for the foreseeable future so she can take care of Lewis.  With the loss of income, ongoing medical and travel expenses, it is necessary to ask for donations, to help this very loving family, ease their financial burden.  The funds raised will be used to pay for the cost of travel, lost wages and any other expenses incurred during Lewis's treatment and recovery.  I was fortunate to have Lewis in my Kindergarten Class last year and he is the kindest little boy.  He was a wonderful friend to all his classmates and a joy to teach.  Lewis's school has rallied around him by dedicating this year's Terry Fox Run to him.  All of the students have put blue hearts on the gym wall and many families have purchased "Team Lewis" t-shirts.  Please be a part of "Team Lewis" and contribute to this GoFundMe.
