Family of 5 - saving their home

In October 2015, my husband, a disabled vet who served during the Gulf War, sat on a chair at work and fell to the ground. The 30 year old wooden chair was missing dowels and had been recalled by his employer, the State of California, but the Department Manager chose not to replace the chairs . The fall not only re-injured his existing spine injuries from his time in service but also created new ones including a torn disc, which will require surgery.
My husband has since missed several days of work due to the injuries but because his employer will not place him on disability each day he is off is a non paid day. The state currently owes him in excess of $8000.00 in back workman's comp pay.
As he is not receiving anywhere near a full paycheck, the last two months he received $864 total, not each month, we are struggling to keep a roof over our heads and feed our 3 children. I have taken a part time job but have just started and have only received one check so far of about $100.
We have been unable to pay our rent, car payments, utilities and phone bills. Our landlord, who has been patient, has served us with a 3 day notice. If we are evicted, we have no where to go and my husband, who is the custodial parent for his 3 kids will lose custody.
We have already taken out 2 personal loans and a loan from his retirement account plus gone through our savings making ends meet since the fall happened. We have nothing left. Our credit is going down the tubes, along with our hopes of buying a home.
Our rent is $1500 a month, to bring our car payments up to current is $1752, our electricity is $444 = $3696. Anything extra we may raise will be used to pay our cellphone bill as our phone service has been suspended for non-payment. As we don't have a land line phone, our cell phones are essential, especially with 3 young children.
We have contacted several local agencies for help as well but time is of the essence.
If you are able to contribute to the campaign in anyway it will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
