Save the Greenhouse

The following is an update regarding where the Bovey's (and their supporters) currently stand in their journey to #SaveTheGreenhouse:

First the good news, thanks to your overwhelming generosity, we were able to raise nearly $2,500 dollars to help cover a mountain of legal fees for the Bovey's, including a $15,000 dollar appeal to the courts.

Unfortunately, the circuit court judge has ruled against a hearing. This means the $20,000 fine that the Bovey's originally faced at the start will soon become a reality.

For everyone who attended city council meetings, wrote a kind word, planted a yard sign, decorated the Bovey's front door, and donated with their hearts, the Bovey's offer their sincerest thanks and endless gratitude. Regardless of how this story ends, please know that you played an important role in fighting a battle the Bovey family never wanted to wage. Win or lose, we hope the Bovey greenhouse story is a catalyst for change in how our local government operates.
