Help Me Reunite With My Family!

Dear all,
I am writing to request your kind support for legal fees and refugee organization resettlement costs to bring my family to live safely in Canada with me. I am Dr. Rasuli and I am a Canadian citizen. Throughout my career I worked on women’s rights and gender issues in my home country and received threats in my country by warlords because of this work, which forced me to leave. My family was also very active in serving our people and they are in serious risk because of their work for Western governments, the military, and women’s rights activism.
After carefully talking to a number of lawyers in the US and Canada, private refugee sponsorship is the only possible way to rescue my parents and sisters but it will require tens of thousands of dollars for resettlement costs and application legal fees. The past few years have been very difficult and strange. People have been faced with overwhelming challenges under the best of circumstances. I just gave birth to my first child as my home country was collapsing and the pressure I experienced as a new mother was unimaginable. I have no income and neither does my family, but I am a strong woman and I cannot take no for an answer.
I am proud to be a resourceful person and I prefer to be in a situation where I am helping others, so it is difficult to ask for help. However, I am not afraid because I know I have a strong support system with many kind people, like you, from all over the world who always want to help! I would be grateful for every dollar you are able to contribute for my family and, if contribution is not possible for you, I would appreciate your support by sharing in the community and prayers for my family’s safety. I cannot wait to hug my parents and sisters again and introduce them to my daughter. (I know she will grow up to be strong and achieve many things!)
