Support 'The Sky's The Limit!' Wingwalk challenge

Hi, I'm Lynne Oldroyd, and in just over 1 month (Thursday 20th June 2024) my wingwalk challenge for MNDA will be realised. The aim of this challenge is to raise some much needed funds for MNDA in memory of Paul Brown, a close family friend and Pastor at our local church (Beacon Community Church) in Bradford. Unforunately, Pastor Paul lost his fight with MND on Saturday 9th March, but we have been greatly encouraged to continue the fundraising in Paul's honour.

Paul's wife Claire and their son Sam are very much in our prayers at this time. Claire recently shared the following words along with the photo at the top of the page...

"My incredibly brave, kind, gentle and wonderful husband Paul Brown passed away at 4.40 pm on Saturday 9th March. As you can imagine we are broken hearted at the moment. He is no longer MND - he is Paul again. Over the past few days I have been surrounded by people filled with love for us as a family. A massive thank you to the wonderful staff at Marie Curie Hospice. They have been with us every second. They held us while we sobbed and wiped away our tears as Paul passed from this earth to his heavenly home. It was in the end so peaceful. Paul you will always be in my heart, and you have given me so many happy times. I love you."

THANK YOU to everyone supporting me to raise funds towards a cure for this debilitating disease. I have raised and paid all the fees for the wing walk myself but I would like to invite you to continue to share my challenge and raise more funds. I also want to promote awareness of this condition and the charity itself. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me, all of you and those living with MND.
