Hi! I am Bari Levin, Eliecer Solera Levin's mom!  OnJanuary 6, 2015, Eliecer fell in a hole while chasing his dog in Montezuma, Costa Rica. We rushed him to the hopsital in an airplane because there were a possibility he would have a thrombosis and die.  He was operated upon with 13 screws and 3 titanium plates in his right knee, always with a risk of thrombosis.  After the surgery, Eliecer never felt any relief from the extreme pain he was experiencing since the accident and we were sent home on January 12, 2015.  On January 17, 2015, we rushed Eliecer back to the hospital due to a high fever and the pain that never subsided.  That evening they operated upon his leg and diagnosed "necrosis".  With a bacteria specialist, 3 epidermals, each with a different antibiotic, direct to his right leg, and 3 operations later to "save" his leg on  January 24, 2015, Eliecer's right leg was amputated above the knee, due to a bacterial infection on his shin, below the "trauma".  His leg had rotted and  his vital signs were 20%..........his leg or his life!  Upon amputating his leg, his pain went from an excrutiating 1115 on a scale from 1-10 to 5.
Eliecer is positive, we all are!  We are asking for your donations so that Eliecer may continue his physical therapy, have transportation to and from work as well as, and the most important, be fitted for a prosthetic.  The prosthetic costs around $15000.  This includes the pre-prothetic and the prosthetic itself but does not include the various "liners" for the socket which cover Eliecer's stump.  His stump will probably shrink "8 liner sizes" before the prosthetic is "ready to go" with no more clinic visits nor physical therapy.
Your generous donations allows us to travel and remain in San Jose (a 5 to 6 hour journey) for as long as necessary for the prosthetic process, as well as the various visits to adjust the "leg" as well as physical therapy sessions and other "unknowns".
I am more than grateful, for it also allows me to BE with my son in this time of great change, when he needs me most and vocally tells me as much!
 THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
Blessings to you and yours!
