I am Simon, friend of Jasmine and administrator of this GoFundMe. I am setting this up as a way to support Jasmine and her family as they deal with the sudden loss of her youngest brother Ryan. I know there are a whole bunch of us around that want to help, but aren't quite sure how to be supportive. This is an easy way to contribute in a moment this sort of shock. I know that sending cash can feel like a hollow form of support, but it is also a way to alleviate a form of stress that unfortunately comes with this situation. From the time off work needed to cope; to various unknown other expenses, it can help create a little space and time in a situation that needs both of those things.
