Time for a 50 Year Refit - Building Repairs Needed
Donation protected
Army, Navy & Air Force Veteran’s in Canada – Saskatoon Unit 38 needs your help!
After 50 years, our building is in need of a refit so that we can provide a place for veterans to gather for another 50 years. Recently our building suffered damage due to melting snow and a leaking roof. While parts of the roof have been repaired in recent years, we need to repair the whole roof so that there is no further damage.
Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans – Saskatoon Unit 38 was incorporated in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on December 10, 1920 and has been active in the community ever since. Members participate and volunteer their time for the annual Remembrance Day service at SaskTel Centre and work with the Legion to support the annual Poppy Campaign. We also support many different charities and organizations including Army Cadet Corps #2293 and #3071.
In late February, warmer temperatures rolled in causing freezing and thawing of snow and ice that had accumulated over the winter. On Sunday, February 23, 2025, while the Club was closed, water started to leak through the roof into the bar area. The water destroyed the cash register and caused damage in this area. When discovered, action was taken immediately to clear the roof and repair the damage but it became obvious that a permanent fix is needed.
This is where you come in!
Will you help Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans – Saskatoon Unit 38 raise funds to repair our building? Any donation amount is greatly appreciated.
With your kindness, Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans – Saskatoon Unit 38 can make the repairs needed to continue to provide a place for veterans to gather, and find friendship and support.
Thank you for your consideration and support of Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans – Saskatoon Unit 38!
