Nobody Fights Alone-Sunny Barnett

It saddens me to let everyone know that Sunny loss the fight against cancer. She put up a really good fight and did everything possible to try and beat it. She will forever be missed by her husband, children, and family!

Sunny has stage 4 bladder cancer.

Sunny has tried multiple treatments including, radiation, multiple different chemotherapies, trials, and immunotherapy. So far nothing has helped stop the growth of her cancer. Being that her cancer is such a rare form, Doctors are at a loss as to what can really help slow her cancer down. As of 2/27/25 she was told that her organs are still doing exceptionally well but her bones are not. They are now talking about more radiation and possibly more surgery on top of her current immunotherapy treatment due to some stress fractures (sternum and clavicle. Radiation on arm). Sunny is doing the best she can keeping on a brave face for her children and trying any option she can to be able to spend on more day with her kids and husband. She is still traveling to the city for scans, appointments and treatments. We ask that you please share this story. Any donation is greatly appreciated and does go straight to medical coverage/travel. The whole family thanks everyone that has helped in any way they can.

They told her she only has 2-3 years to live with treatment.

The family is setting up fundraisers online. If you're able to donate that would be very much appreciated. She had to quit her job and will be fighting cancer for years. With the support of people like you, even the smallest donation will help her and her family. She plans on spending as much time with her husband and two small children as much as she can. All funds donated are going to seek treatment in NYC. Insurance does not always cover treatment. She has to pay for housing after treatment. These treatments are only sometimes discounted. Which makes things even harder on to of medical bills. This cannot be accomplished without you. Thank you so much to everyone involved!
