I never thought I would be setting up a page for myself. I have always been better at giving than receiving. Many if not all of you know that I am not good at asking for help. But this time, I have to be realistic.
Fighting cancer, round two, cannot be done alone. I have challenges ahead. I am grateful for my family, friends, and the community for their support, and a great medial team at Loyola Bernadine Cancer Center, without whom I will not able to fight this battle. Many have poured in with prayers, support, and offered to help with meals and other areas that I may need help after the surgery. While I know that complete recovery is not guaranteed, like with everything else in life, I will give it my best and my everything to fight it, Linny style. Getting rid of cancer and fighting to live is my utmost priority right now. With the risks that come with the surgery, and all the possibilities of the outcome, I stand on faith in God that I will conquer this battle!
While I focus on this battle and work toward healing, there will be challenges ahead. I know that I will need help with the medical copays, deductibles, and living expenses while I will not be able to work.
I need your help... Boy, that was hard to type.
Many thanks for all your prayers and support for me and my loved ones who are fighting with me. Many thanks for your help here.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow....
